If art has always seemed like something you wanted to learn as a child but never had the opportunity to or if you are looking for a new creative hobby and don’t know where to start….well then, Art Every Week may be just the right place for you.

Art Every Week, as the name suggests,  is a weekly online art class for kids and adults. We meet once a week to explore a variety of subjects and learn how to illustrate them. Although we use watercolour for the most part, we try other easy-to-procure art supplies like pencil colours, sketchpens, brush pens, poster colours and even a regular ball pen! Art is not limited to a single medium or an age group or even a subject. We can illustrate just about anything we observe around us and find joy in the process.

What can I expect to learn?

We will explore a wide variety of subjects like birds, animals, flowers, food, landscapes and learn to illustrate these in different styles.

What materials will I use?

We will use easy-to-procure art supplies like watercolour, pencils, colour pencils, pens, brush pens and even poster colours.

What’s the upper limit for adults?

While there is a lower age limit for both the kids and adults batches, this is only to keep class duration age appropriate. If you are willing, you can make art at any age.

Is online learning effective?

An online class is highly effective as live classroom interaction is combined with self-paced learning (through re-watching of class recordings afterward).

How can I expect feedback?

You can share your work on the class group or one-on-one, for feedback and clarification of questions.

But I have never painted before…
